ABOUT ELECTED WINGS

Under the provision of Jharkhand Municipal Act 2011, the General Board is the supreme body of the Corporation constituted by Mayor, Dy Mayor and 53 elected ward members from each wards. One members are elected from each ward hence the 53 wards makes a total of 53 Councilors. Its term is for a five year duration after which elections are held once again.
