Birth & Death Registration department of Ranchi Municipal Corporation is responsible for the registration of all the birth & death incident happens in that area of ranchi, which comes under the juridiction of Ranchi Municipal Corporation. The registration process is based on "BIRTH & DEATH REGISTRATION ACT 1969". 

The activities of this section include:

# Receiving of Birth & Death Application.

# Sending the received application, if required  to SDO or DSO for the approval of registartion.

# Data Entry of the received application.

# Issuance of birth & death certificate.

# Sending the required report to DSO regarding birth & death registration at the end of each
    month.
